DESCRIPTION:Explore new technology that extends design capacity\n\nWHAT: Building Together | Innovate is an online English AEC event with English\, French\, German\, and Portuguese subtitles. \nWHEN: June 13 at 2 PM (CEST) \nWHAT TO EXPECT: Hear from four international architecture firms – including the design team behind the Paris Athletes’ Village – as they share how technology has helped them overcome design challenges and deliver exceptional results. In this fast-paced AEC digital event\, we hand the microphone to a powerhouse line-up of Graphisoft users to learn how our tools and platforms have helped break the mold in real projects worldwide. \nPresentations include: \nCoBe\, KOZ\, and Atelier George (France): A marathon with sprints in between – collaborating on the 2024 Athletes’ Village \nCities hosting global athletics events are familiar with questions about what will happen to large-scale new structures built to host massive (temporary) audiences. This\, too\, was the sustainability demand that the design team behind the Paris Athletes’ Village was tasked with solving. Applying an innovative approach to using prefabricated materials\, the design team created structures that respond to the environment and both short—and long-term needs. \narchitectsAlliance (Canada): Revitalizing Waterfronts – Pier 27’s Architectural Innovation and Project Management Insights \nToronto’s Pier 27 is an example of iconic architecture that enriches the public realm while raising the bar for future waterfront development. Learn about the challenges of managing a complex waterfront redevelopment project\, including stakeholder expectations\, noise reduction\, and software updates. \nThe event is in English\, with English\, French\, German\, and Portuguese subtitles. \n\n
